Biography: Dr Charles Thulani Thethwayo is a lecturer at the Department of Physics at the University of Zululand and has a MSc degree in Physics (material science) from the University of Zululand. His research interests are in hydrogen storage multilayer thin film systems and gas sensing applications using semiconducting metal oxides. His PhD, which focused on a multilayer system Pd/Ti/Zr/Pd/cp-Ti for possible hydrogen storage.
