Ijeoma, Noella Ezeji

Biography: Mrs Ijeoma Noella Ezeji is a lecturer at the Department of Computer Science. She holds an MSc Computer Science degree from the University of Zululand and is currently working towards her PhD. She co-ordinates the honours Computer science programme and is the leader of the Context Awareness and Personalization research group. She currently lectures Data Structures and Algorithms and Distributed Systems Development respectively at undergraduate level and Advanced Software and Distributed Computing Techniques at Honours Post graduate level. Previously, she had taught Databases and Information Management II. At some point as part-time Lecturer in the Department of Library and Information Studies in the Faculty of Arts, she had taught modules such as Computer Literacy, Computer Mediated Communication, Electronic Publishing, Assembling and upgrading of computers, Networks and networking. In addition, she has consistently volunteered to teach the Database section of the module; Information Retrieval, Indexing and Abstracts in the Department of Information studies. Mrs Ezeji is also a member of the Telkom Centre of Excellence for mobile e-services.
