Biography: Mr. Yanga Nontu is an accomplished academic with a strong background in agricultural economics. He holds a Master of Science degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Fort Hare and is currently pursuing a doctoral philosophy in agricultural economics at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. Currently, Mr. Nontu is a dedicated and highly motivated lecturer in agribusiness at the Department of Agriculture at the University of Zululand. He is passionate about teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate students and has a proven track record of excellence in academia. He is an affiliate of the South African Society of Agricultural Extension (SASAE) and Agricultural Economics Association of South Africa (AEASA) and regularly attends conferences and seminars to keep up to date with the latest developments in his field.
